🧑‍🚀 whoami

Most people's GitHub is a folder of things they started. Mine is mostly other people's repos — and the pull requests are merged.

I'm a B.Tech CSE student at Thapar (2024 → 2028), ex blockchain-dev intern at BlockseBlock, and for the last six weeks my main hobby has been walking into a production codebase I didn't write and closing bugs in it — Swift on macOS, Python on the backend, Next.js on the web, and the CI that ties it together.

reproduce it → find the cause → fix it once, where every caller routes through

📈 The one number that matters

110 pull requests merged into BasedHardware/omi — a shipping AI-wearable product with a macOS app, a Python backend, a Next.js web app and a Flutter client. First PR: 19 Jul 2026. So: ~110 merges in ~6 weeks, in a codebase I did not write.

Where they landed:

Area Merged What that actually means
🖥️ Desktop (Swift · macOS/Windows) 28 transcription lifecycle, mic reconnect, Sparkle updates, window + permission bugs
📱 App (Flutter/Dart) 21 BLE GATT teardown, offline upload retries, FCM deep links, transcript seek
🐍 Backend (Python) 14 rate limits, fail-closed quota accounting, MCP search, timezone coercion
⚙️ CI / release 12 fail-closed pipelines, SA-key ratchets, restored unit + ratchet checks
🌐 Web (Next.js) 7 share-link host parity, deep links, live-transcript perf
🎧 listen · sync · chat · mcp · dev-api 26 websocket delivery, clock-offset dedupe on offline merge, scoped chat, omi ask CLI

Counts from merged-PR scope prefixes. Verify: the PR list itself.

Also open upstream right now: meshery ×3, OpenHands, zulip-flutter, CCExtractor (sample-platform, taskwarrior-flutter), AOSSIE (OrgExplorer, CarbonTracker, OpenVerifiableLLM, AutoInitialIssues), Catrobat/Paintroid.

💼 Open to paid work

Backend / desktop / full-stack reliability — internship or contract · IST · ~10–15 hrs/week

I'm useful on day one in a codebase you're tired of explaining. Give me a flaky test, a race condition, a CI pipeline that lies, or a bug report nobody can reproduce.
