Updating

Watcher will prompt for updates automatically. It is advised to perform a backup prior to performing an update. Should the update function via the web page fail the log can be checked for errors.

A manual update can be done with the following commands (after a watcher shutdown):

cd watcher3
git pull

Watcher will perform a database update as needed the next time it is started. Should a database update take place, a backup copy of your database will be created as watcher/db/watcher.sqlite.2017-01-01.
