When this bumps the extension package to 1.8.8, extensions/vscode-lopper/CHANGELOG.md still starts at 1.8.7. The repository's scripts/vscode_release_notes.py --check requires exactly one newest changelog entry matching the package version, so make vscode-release-notes-check and the make test target now exit with an error, blocking the release checks. Generate the 1.8.8 entry, including the bundled adm-zip update.
