- Download the add-on as a
.zip. - Open Blender β Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.
- Click Installβ¦, select the
.zip, and confirm. - Enable the add-on: To Unity FBX.
- Select the objects you want to export.
- Press N to open the sidebar β To Unity FBX tab.
- Choose a preset:
- Static Mesh
- Rigged (No Anim)
- Rigged + Animations
- Or use Custom Export for manual configuration.
- Choose the export path.
- Export β Unity-ready FBX is generated.
- Export a mesh or rig from Blender using this add-on.
- Import into Unity β confirm correct orientation & scale.
- (Optional) Upload to Mixamo to add animations.
- Download and re-import into Blender for fine-tuning.
- Re-export using Rigged + Animations preset.
- Import into Unity β animations work immediately.
