This release is the first version that is submitted to CRAN and is also the basis for the accompanying manuscript.

full proof of concept release

This is the first official release of the bitfield R-package. It contains the first functions to grow flags and currently only operates on tabular data. It is thus a proof of concept of the idea and a means to further explore the functionality in applied examples.
