Demo required for desktop app (.exe)

I am not abel to open and see the online demo link it says error 502 so i downloaded the desktop.exe file ran it and it works but i have no idea how to start using it or how to setup this a guide or a dummy account with data and walk through would be really helpfull.

Sorry about the 502 on the hosted link. Desktop is the reliable path right now.

Once the .exe is up, the first-run wizard should open if there is no super admin yet. Create your org there, and load sample data when it offers it so you have a project to poke at. From there the usual loop is: open a project, drop a bid package, then takeoff / worksheet / quote from that.

If the wizard already ran and you are staring at an empty org, say what screen you landed on and I will walk you through from there. A short getting-started page for the desktop build is a fair ask too, I will add one.

Wrote that guide up: docs/getting-started.md in #90. It covers the desktop install, the first-run wizard (super admin, org, sample data), and the short loop after that: open a project, drop a bid package into intake, then takeoff, worksheet, quote. Load the sample data when the wizard offers it so you land on real projects, rates, and catalogs instead of an empty org.

If setup already finished and your org is empty, you can still load sample data from the admin organizations screen.

One more thing: the hosted demo is answering again as of this morning, so you can click around there if you want a look without setting anything up. It has been flaky, so the desktop build is still the path I would trust for real work.
