The only change made to the original release.yml is:
- Renaming it to
.yamlin order to match the convention followed by other files in this repo. - Changing indentation to align it with that followed in
Chart.yaml.

This adds a number of pre-commit checks to ensure consistent formatting across all files in the repo. YAML formatting in particular follows the conventions already used in Chart.yaml.
