Antergos meant a lot to people, and when it died, nobody picked it up. So I did. Antergos NeXT keeps that spirit going — Artix underneath, dinit as init, KDE Plasma, Calamares installer. It's my small way of keeping a piece of the Polish Linux scene alive. That, and someone has to keep the "install a distro in 2026" hobby alive.

Yeah. Like, actually use Gentoo. I went Gentoo → Artix → back to Gentoo — it's a cycle, okay? It taught me patience and how to fix things instead of reinstalling them. And yes, it compiles for hours. That's the point. The Gentoo scars are permanent. I even build ISOs on it, which is objectively a bad idea that I will keep doing.

Shipping Antergos NeXT ISOs that don't break, tweaking the Calamares installer (online netinstall only, offline mode is a lie), and keeping the Polish Linux community fed. Also fighting the eternal battle of "why is this font rendering as boxes." It's the CJK fonts. It's always the CJK fonts.

Because terminals are better than GUIs and I will die on this hill. Calamares, artools, Neovim — that's the whole stack. It mostly works, and when it doesn't, that's what git revert is for. I am a professional.
