Superseded by #13, which applies the same updates on top of the rewritten history.

This branch was created before main was rewritten to remove a 13 MB binary from every commit, so it still carries the old history. GitHub reports it mergeable because the old merge base survives server-side — merging it would put the binary and the old SHAs back into main. Closing and deleting the branch.
