Keep everything in this folder together: "Tessera.exe", "resources.neu", and the "engine" folder (the AI models).

Double-click "Tessera.exe" to start.

First launch only: Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. Normal for any new program not from a big company. Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

Inside Tessera:
- MAPS / PHOTOS tabs at the top pick what kind of image you're enhancing. Each tab keeps its own workspace.
- Step 1: select one image, or several at once (batch). Dragging pictures into the window works too. With more than one image, a filmstrip appears under the picture - click any thumbnail (or use the arrow keys) to look through them. The sizes on the left follow whichever image you're viewing.
- Step 2: click the model button to open the engine list and options.
- Step 3: two sliders set the size (whole numbers on top, quarter steps below). Hit Upscale, drag the orange handle to compare, then Save.
- Hold your mouse still over anything for a moment and a small explanation pops up.
- The gear (top right) has save format, Polish Results, language, and notifications. The "i" button shows About.

Tessera picks your fastest hardware automatically at startup and shows it in the bottom bar. If the graphics card ever has trouble mid-job, it falls back to the processor on its own and keeps going.
Everything happens on your own computer. Your images are never sent anywhere.
