user-error: This buffer cannot use `imenu-default-create-index-function' #3

Description

@jnareb

When trying to run M-x imenu with cuda-mode, I get the following error:

This buffer cannot use `imenu-default-create-index-function'

This means that I cannot use which-function-mode, and that going to the definition of function with M-x imenu over the use of function doesn't work either. What is strange is that it does work in the c-mode

cuda-mode version: 20150416.900 (elpa/melpa)
GNU Emacs 24.5.1 (x86_64-w64-mingw32) of 2015-05-16 on KAEL
