Pilot Protocol is an open-source (AGPL-3.0), stdlib-only Go overlay network giving AI agents a permanent virtual address, encrypted UDP tunnels (X25519 + AES-GCM), NAT traversal, and an explicit per-peer trust model (mutual handshake). It's actively maintained — source at github.com/pilot-protocol. Fits the Inter-Agent Protocols > Standards section alongside A2A/MCP/ANP as a transport/addressing/trust protocol, complementary to those message-schema protocols. Site: pilotprotocol.network.
