Hi @johndtwaldron thanks for reaching out and taking an interest in both the Swift language and the Swift Bitcoin project. There's plenty of opportunities for QA work, from documentation, to specification and test writing. Also on the tooling front with metrics and logs. At the moment just trying out the library and/or executables, following the existing guides like https://swiftbitcoin.org/docs/documentation/bitcoin/gettingstarted and providing feedback is already quite an undertaking and really useful. Cheers! |

Thanks Craig! Really appreciate the pointers. I’ll start by going through the Getting Started guide and opening an issue/PR with feedback on anything unclear. Then I’ll have a think about test vectors. I’ll keep PRs small and reviewable. Looking forward to contributing! |
Hi Craig — JDW here. I’m a former IBMer (MQ/zOS) QA, now on the make and keen to bring my hunger into Bitcoin adjacent engineering.
I’m building PoW on several fronts just now, but this looked like a great project to add Swift to my repertoire, show Bitcoin tech bandwidth and sharpen my QA skills outside of world of mainframes.
I don’t have Swift yet, but I’ll be learning soon.
Cheers, and hope to work together soon,
JDW
