Not working with ChatGPT Android on Galaxy Tab S10 Lite + Logitech physical keyboard #8

Description

@alexandrebarrionuevo

Hi! Thanks for creating Enter2Send — this is exactly the kind of workaround I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work with the ChatGPT Android app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE using a Logitech physical keyboard (bluetooth).

What I tested

  • Installed Enter2Send and enabled the required Accessibility permission/service.
  • Tested Enter inside the native ChatGPT Android app.
  • Enter still inserts a new line instead of sending the message.
  • Ctrl+Enter, Alt+Enter and Shift+Enter also do not send in the native app.
  • I uninstalled Enter2Send, reinstalled it, enabled it again, and retested, with the same result.

Useful comparison

  • In WhatsApp, the physical Enter key sends normally, so the keyboard itself is working correctly. (without Enter2Send)
  • In ChatGPT Web on the same tablet, Ctrl+Enter sends successfully. (without Enter2Send)
  • The issue is specifically the native ChatGPT Android app, which is important for me because I use ChatGPT Remote, which isn't available in the web interface.

Device/setup

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE
  • Physical Logitech keyboard
  • ChatGPT native Android app
  • Enter2Send reinstalled and Accessibility enabled

If there are logs, diagnostics, or specific Accessibility settings you'd like me to check, I'm happy to test them. It may be that the current ChatGPT Android UI exposes the composer/send button differently on this device/app version.
