…uiet, ctx struct (resolve-w2-lintcli) #36: move JSON envelope emit BEFORE the any_would_fix std::process::exit(1) in run_lint_directory so `mds lint --fix --check --format json <dir>` always writes parseable JSON to stdout before exiting. Previously stdout was empty on exit 1, breaking JSON.parse for consumers (AC-F-14). #59: run_lint_stdin previously destructured LintFlags with `..`, silently dropping `check` and `diff`. `mds lint - --fix --check` applied fixes and wrote the fixed source to stdout instead of exiting 1 unmodified. Now all five flags are bound; a preview path (preview_fixes → gated pipeline) is inserted before the write path, mirroring run_lint_file. Avoids PF-004. #43: PartiallyFixed produced three different user-facing messages across four call sites with inconsistent --quiet handling. Consolidate to a single format "Partially fixed: {label} ({N} of {M} fixes applied)" with a uniform !quiet guard at all sites. Fixes the realized defect: lint_one_file_accumulating destructured LintFlags without binding `quiet`, so `mds lint dir/ --fix --format json --quiet` emitted status lines that single-file mode suppressed. Refs: issue #173. #55: introduce LintDirCtx struct grouping lint_root/flags/runtime_vars/config for run_lint_directory's per-file helpers, following the FileCompileCtx / DirWatchCtx pattern (watch.rs:582-586, 1307-1311). Removes the two remaining #[allow(clippy::too_many_arguments)] suppressions (zero-warnings policy, issue #6). Applies ADR-004; avoids PF-004. Regression tests added for all three behavioral fixes (RED→GREEN verified). Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com>

P0 (PF-004) — `--quiet` bypassed on two of three lint emitters: #216 gated the `fix rejected:` and `diagnostic cap reached` status messages in directory mode only, leaving the single-file and stdin emitters ungated. That re-created exactly the divergence issue #43/#173 fixed for `Partially fixed:` — `mds lint --fix --quiet` stayed silent for a directory but wrote to stderr for a single file or stdin. Gate all three modes. P1 (PF-013/ADR-009) — three tests proven vacuous by mutation: - `lint_directory_quiet_check_exit_matches_d1a_contract` passed with the summary emit deleted outright; its only "control" used a different fixture. Added an in-test control on the same tree. - `lint_directory_quiet_works_in_pre_subcommand_position` and `dir_build_quiet_works_in_pre_subcommand_position` asserted only pre==post, which holds when BOTH orderings are broken; both passed with the quiet gate removed. Added absolute-value anchors plus positive controls. - `lint_stdin_prints_no_directory_summary` and AC-Q13 could not distinguish a wrong needle / corrupted line from real absence. Strengthened. New regression guard: `fix_rejected_message_honours_quiet_in_all_three_modes` covers all three emitters with a paired positive control each; verified to fail against a revert of either half of the P0 fix. P2 — CHANGELOG and spec.md now document the D4 status-message change (a shipped v0.3.0 surface); untangled a garbled bucket-semantics sentence in spec.md; fixed a run-on in the rendered `mds lint --help` text and made AC-Q26 pin both help sites independently.

…itter parity
- Finding 1 (medium/blocking): add debug_assert_eq! for the four-counter
FileTally partition invariant after the per-file loop in run_lint_directory,
per the project reliability rule ("Assert preconditions and invariants in
production code — not just tests") and the Rust rule (debug_assert! for
invariants in hot paths). Zero release-build cost; catches a future
early continue/return that would silently undercount the summary.
- Finding 2 (low/suggestion): close the last PF-004 emitter divergence:
lint_one_file_accumulating (JSON) was missing Fixed: and Would fix:
that lint_one_file_human already emitted. Both now have the same
quiet-gated messages with paired positive/negative tests (PF-013/ADR-009).
- Finding 3 (medium/should-fix): remove the wrong #43 issue reference from
the module doc (issue #43 is an unrelated Dependabot CI bump). The
comment now references only #173 (the dispatch-spine refactor).
- Finding 4 (low/suggestion): replace the absolute "all seven messages in
all three modes" claim with a scoped statement: Clean: is single-file/
stdin only and directory mode emits no per-file clean message (PF-015).
