If Matplotlib is a broken version, how to change snr_plot.py instead reinstall Matplotlib? #5

I am just about to replace with a new version of the code. This will happen by the end of the week. I am no longer supporting the Windows executable version, only the python version of the code.

Hi I also have the same issue - 'SNREmissivity' object has no attribute 'widgets'
Im running it via spyder python. ThanksHello @Bladestorm25 and @YuLiumt, in case after all these years you still need an answer, I was just running it and found a fix for the no attributes 'widgets' error you shared above. Its summary I'll share below, and in another issue I just created, you should be able to find what you need to get SNRPY running with 2026 imports. For those who come after 👍
Fix for
SNREmissivityMissingwidgetsIf clicking Emissivity produces:
AttributeError: 'SNREmissivity' object has no attribute 'widgets'Open
PythonVersion/snr_calc.pyand find this line insideSNREmissivity.__init__:self.root = root
Add the following line beneath it:
self.widgets = snr.widgets
The result should be:
self.root = root self.widgets = snr.widgets
Matplotlib issues - 'FigureCanvasTkAgg' object has no attribute 'show'
We can change line in snr_plot.py from self.canvas.show() to self.canvas.draw()
But, still another issues - 'SNREmissivity' object has no attribute 'widgets'
I don't know how to modify it
