8 Bit Adder

8 Bit binary Adder made in Falstad Circuit Simulator from complete scratch using CMOS logic.

Can add two numbers reaching from 0 to 127. Because the circuit is made with CMOS logic, the 7 full adders and 1 half adder don't need any current with makes the adder very energy saving compared to other adders which use Bipolar transistors.

In the core, the circuit only consists of the following logic gates:

• 52 inverters
• 45 NAND gates
• 22 NOR gates

How to import it in Falstad Circuit Simulator

Download the 8bit_adder.txt file in the src directory

Go to https://www.falstad.com/circuit/ -> File -> Import from file -> and then import your downloaded file.
