Eye tracking support for the Meta headsets with eye tracking (Quest Pro, not tested for other headsets) to provide eye tracking data in the context of the EDIA Toolbox.
Provides eye tracking data from a Quest Pro headset per eye (left, right, center)* at the device's native sampling frequency (30Hz). Samples are provided in the Unity Update() via the interface of the EDIA Eye package. The package here "only" solves the parsing into the EDIA Eye compatible format.
Caution
* Right and left eye data in the Quest Pro clearly are dependent and surely do not reflect raw single-eye tracking.
We have developped and tested this module using Unity v2022.13 and Meta XR Core SDK 72.0. As the move to Unity 6 and every new major version of Meta's SDK bring about severe changes, there might be compatibility issues with more recent versions. We are thankful for feedback (ideally in the form of issues) or support in implementing fixes.

Tip
The recommended way to install this package is using the EDIA installer ( download, README). It will also directly install the required version of the Meta SDK (v72.0). When you already have the Meta SDK installed (with another version), this might create issues.
For more detailled instructions on the "manual" installation please check out our documentation of the EDIA Eye Quest module.
Follow the instructions on how to set up your scene as described in the EDIA Eye package, or have a look at our online documentation EDIA Toolbox.
