🛑 Phishing Awareness Simulator (Educational Cybersecurity Demo) This project is a phishing awareness training simulator built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
It presents users with a fake login page that looks like a generic email service. When a user attempts to "log in," the app triggers an immediate educational warning, reminding them about the risks of phishing attacks.
✅ Features: 🖥️ Realistic-looking fake login form
🚫 No data is collected, stored, or transmitted — this is 100% front-end and safe for demo purposes
✅ Deployable on Replit and viewable as a live web app
✅ Live Demo: https://redteam-phishing-training.replit.app//
(Hosted for demonstration purposes only)
✅ Technologies Used: HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript (vanilla)
Replit deployment environment
✅ Educational Purpose: This simulator is part of my IT and Cybersecurity learning portfolio as I work toward my Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at WGU.
It demonstrates my understanding of:
Web security risks
Social engineering tactics
Front-end web development
User education through interactive simulations
✅ Planned Improvements: Add a redirect to a custom phishing safety education page after the alert
Include styling variations to simulate different brands or login types (for internal training use)
Implement fake multi-step login flow for enhanced realism
Optional Flask backend version for tracking demo interaction logs (without collecting real data)

✅ Disclaimer:
It does not collect real user data.
It is not intended for malicious use.
Always use responsibly and with full consent when demonstrating in live environments.
