# Installing OpenFOV

## Recommended: WinGet

If you're on Windows 10 / 11, the easiest install is:

winget install OpenFOV
```

This goes through Microsoft's package manager. No SmartScreen prompts,
no manual download. **(Available once our WinGet manifest is merged —
typically 1–3 days after each release.)**
