Interactive viewer for Yuan 2006 Table 1 (59 complete oligo series) with additive Focus-panel views of published lytic-cycle relationships. Live: https://lytic.phoenix.boston

What stayed the same

The main chart is unchanged: real-hour x-axis, measured points only, ghosts of all 59 genes, 10–90% band + median, pin/hover, log2 vs linear fold, MultiCAST calibrators as the default pins. CAGE filters still affect the gene list only, not the ghosts.

What was added (Focus panel)

Published recommendations, not dual-axis overlays on the Yuan chart:

  • Pinned RNA cascade heatmap — log2 fold vs 0 h, genes ordered by peak hour (Yuan-style cascade; Weekes/Ersing temporal heatmaps).
  • CAGE kinetic map — BALF2 ratio vs BDLF4 ratio with 0.1 / 0.5 cutoffs (Djavadian et al. PLOS Pathog. 2018, Fig. 4). Not a time series.
  • 48 h RNA vs Akata protein scatter — same cell/trigger as Yuan, not paired aliquots (Ersing et al. Cell Rep. 2017; Weekes et al. Cell 2014 CMV). Color = CAGE class, identity line, Pearson r on the plotted log2 axes.
  • RNA and protein as separate tracks — independent y-scales, shared hour axis (avoid dual-axis magnitude comparison).

Presets: Calibrators, Top 8 peaks, Cascade examples, Array ≠ CAGE (BFRF1, BMRF2, BKRF4, BVRF1).

Keep the Yuan RNA line chart unchanged. Overlay Djavadian 2018 CAGE
early/leaky/late labels and Ersing 2017 gp350+ TMT protein folds in the
focus pane (aligned sparklines + 48 h RNA vs Akata protein scatter).

Keep the Yuan line chart unchanged. In Focus, show a pinned-gene RNA heatmap
(peak-hour order), Djavadian Fig. 4 BALF2 vs BDLF4 class map, and a 48 h
RNA–protein scatter colored by CAGE class with an identity line. RNA and
protein time courses use separate tracks instead of a shared dual axis.
