Global Extension Shortcuts

Group Speed Dial defines 4 global shortcuts:

  • F4 (in Firefox) / Alt + 1 (in Chrome) - open dials page
  • Alt + O - open extension popup
  • Alt + R - open Edit group (works only on dials page)
  • Ctrl + Shift + F - open "Search for dial" window (works only on dials page)

How to view / edit global shotcuts

In Chrome, simply open Keyboard shotcuts page:

chrome://extensions/shortcuts

In Firefox, open about:addons page, click the "gear" icon, and select "Manage Extension Shortcuts" option:

Context menu Shortcuts

Many applications have shortcut keys assigned for some context menu actions.
This helps speed-up some repetitive tasks, for example to refresh a dial thumbnail, right click the dial, and press R key. Or to delete a dial, right click it, and press C key.
You can find all context menu keys in the Options page / Context menu:

Special shortcuts

F2

In "Edit dial" window, press F2 to focus "Dial title" field (to rename dial):

Ctrl + V

If you copied an image to clipboard, and you want to set it as dial thumbnail, press Ctrl + V anywhere in the "Edit dial" window - this will automatically focus and set the "Thumbnail from clipboard" option:

double-click to "Edit group"

Double-click any "group name" in group list to open "Edit group" window:
