These features are supported

  • Skinned animation
  • Particles (the pre 3.5 way)
  • Animation curves
  • 2D physics
  • Static batching of environment
  • Lightmaps baked with Unity (some limitations)
  • Input methods for touch, mouse and keyboard.
  • Line renderers
  • Loading from Resources.

These features are partly supported

  • GUI class

These features are not supported, but planned

  • WWW class
  • 3D physics (planned experiment with BEPUPhysics)

These features are not supported

  • Animation blending.
  • Custom shaders (for Xbox 360).
  • Terrain
  • Occlusion culling
  • 3D audio
  • Shuriken Particle engine
  • Coroutines

These features will not be supported

  • JavaScript and Boo
