Hi all.

This is my idea for updating the parameter sweep FAQ: replace the current section with web.run, and create a legacy section for Batch objects.

Let me know what you think.

Hi @FilipeFcp! Thanks, this is great, as always!

I only suggest adding a new entry: "How can I estimate the cost of a parameter sweep?"

Looks good @FilipeFcp ! I'm curious though where the "Batch Simulations (Legacy)" category will show up and if that will be confusing to some users.

I also agree with Emerson that the extra entry would be useful.

@alec-flexcompute That’s a good point. It looks like the FAQ is displayed in alphabetical order. Maybe I can set the category to “Parameter Sweep (Legacy)” so it appears closer to the new Parameter Sweep section.

@e-g-melo It seems there isn’t a tool to check the cost. The closest option is Batch.estimate_cost, but it only accepts a dictionary, not other data structures. Am I missing something? If not, I can open a ticket to request this feature.

@FilipeFcp, yes, for now we only have Batch.estimate_cost. I think we could also illustrate how to convert other data structures to a dictionary for now, then open a lower-priority ticket to add support to other data structures supported in web.run.
