This error originates from the update of asyncclick to v8.2.2.2. It seems there are some issues with that version.
The other issues originate from the newest release of the base-client which adds waiting for initial_metadata and changes the stream_method type.

My commits intend to fix this, but fail to fix the inital_metadata part so far.
