Direction from the founder (2026-08-08): agent-led setup becomes the primary onboarding path on every surface. Installing by hand stays available everywhere as the fallback.
The ask, once the gate clears (the agent-setup file shipping to the product repo root — nothing in the docs links to it before then):
- Write
start/set-up-with-an-agent (the planned pointer page) as the first page of the Start section — the recommended path.
- Reframe
start/install as the by-hand path: content unchanged, nav position second, framing along the lines of "prefer to do it by hand".
Worth checking now, no gate: whether docs.json nav ordering cleanly allows a new first page in start/, so the eventual change stays a one-deploy flip.
This flips together with the getpostern.com setup band (agent path leads there too) and the product repo README quickstart, in one coordinated pass.
Filed from the landing-page session at the founder's request — for the docs session to pick up when it reopens.
