Hey there. I'm currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Quantum Information Science and Technology at TU Wien, after completing a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Malta.
My work sits at the intersection of information security, cryptography, and quantum information. Over the past few years, I’ve worked across research, engineering, and startups: from blockchain privacy tooling and smart contract infrastructure to quantum key distribution systems and security research.
I previously co-founded Avail, where we raised over €150k in seed funding and grants to build privacy-focused self-custody infrastructure. Through deep integration with Aleo, we worked on a wallet designed to enable private, compliant, and seamless transactions in the real world.
I also worked with Merqury Cybersecurity, where I contributed to the technical development of Malta’s first quantum key distribution network, PRISM, as part of the EuroQCI initiative. Before that, I worked with Dedaub on tooling and infrastructure related to smart contract analysis and migration.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing CTFs with KuK Hofhackerei and w0y, along which I’ve also had the honour of representing Malta in the ECSC.
