Second wave of Power Words — same rule as the first two (Forced Restart, Buzzword): no saving throw, effect gated on a structural threshold unrelated to the target's own resistance, mirroring D&D's Power Word Kill/Stun HP-gate.

  • Compliance & Risk: Power Word: Per My Last Email — gated on whether a prior written record exists
  • Procurement & Resourcing: Power Word: Approved — gated on requester/approver familiarity and a materiality threshold set as a fraction of the org's current Solvency, capping it below anything requiring real approval (Bid War / Vertical Integration still needed for big-ticket items)
  • Finance & Cost-Cutting: Power Word: Write-Off — gated on the org's materiality threshold
  • Legacy Systems & Zombie Projects: Power Word: Blocked — gated on whether the claimed dependency is real (unverifiable either way)
  • Analytics & Forecasting: Power Word: Directionally Correct — gated on sign + order of magnitude only
  • Marketing & Optics: Power Word: On-Brand — gated on the caster's sign-off authority, not the work itself

Every chartered domain now has at least one Power Word.

Also updated

  • MECHANICS.md — Power Word: X example list now covers all 8, with a note that the gating threshold must be structural rather than a reskinned save; Documented, Discovery, and Solvency cross-references extended
  • README.md status count bumped to 68

All spell files pass .github/scripts/validate_spell.py.
