I observed that the book branch was much behind the master branch and thus would lead to inconsistencies if someone preferred referring to the resources on their personal device locally. I decided to checkout the current main to book and update few discrepancies which prevented smooth setup.
The following files were changed:
The book.toml was updated to keep the same ui features and update the GitHub icon
The README.md was updated to elaborate on the procedure to locally set-up the resources
The SUMMARY.md file was updated to fix a minor filename issue and include missing modules
The gdb-gef/readme.md was updated to fix the markdown tag.
If you'd like I can send a smaller version only implementing the necessary fixes and not updating the branch to keep up with the latest version.
