You should write the code yourself without using AI. He prefers simple code, but more importantly, you should understand what you are doing.
If you happen to use AI, please be honest with him about it, just as I was. Any part of the code that you don't know how to implement, just leave it empty—it's not a problem.
I used AI to help with the kernel malloc implementation, and I told him about it. 😥
Also, don't copy code from third-party sources under any circumstances, or you might end up taking this course again.
