Summary
Why
Visibility is presentation state. The previous save path removed hidden GC arrays from the embedded plot, permanently preventing users from turning those rings back on after reloading a session.
Stack
This is intentionally separate from and stacked on #43 so the renderer refactor and session-format behaviour can be reviewed independently.
