docs(paper): align to standard JOSS format (sections, figure ref, length) - #64
Merged
Conversation
Match published JOSS structure: drop the non-JOSS 'Research impact statement'
(fold its runnable-demos/availability note into Statement of need) and the
standalone 'AI usage disclosure' (fold into Acknowledgements); cross-reference
the permutation-null figure with \autoref{fig:permnull}; tighten the federated
paragraph. Sections are now Summary, Statement of need, State of the field,
Software design, Example, Acknowledgements, References. All citation keys resolve.

Why
The paper's structure diverged from how JOSS papers are actually published. This aligns it.
Changes
Section structure — now matches the JOSS convention (Summary + Statement of need required, then free-form):
Research impact statement(not a JOSS section) — folded its runnable-demos / baselines / availability note into Statement of need.AI usage disclosuresection — folded it (concisely) into Acknowledgements, where JOSS papers put such notes.Summary→Statement of need→State of the field→Software design→Example→Acknowledgements→References.Figures / references
\autoref{fig:permnull}(it previously only carried a\label), matching JOSS's figure convention.Length / content
