🚨 Severity: CRITICAL
πŸ’‘ Vulnerability: A hardcoded token xrpc-9f8e7d6c5b4a was discovered in server-php/config/conf.d/wordpress.conf which allowed bypassing the block on the /xmlrpc.php endpoint.
🎯 Impact: Anyone discovering this token in the codebase could access the XML-RPC endpoint, facilitating brute-force credential attacks or pingback DDoS reflection attacks against the server.
πŸ”§ Fix: Removed the conditional check and the hardcoded secret. Replaced it with an unconditional deny all; block for /xmlrpc.php, while turning off access_log and log_not_found to prevent log noise from automated scans.
βœ… Verification: The configuration has been visually verified. During deployment, Nginx will correctly return a 403 Forbidden for all requests to /xmlrpc.php regardless of query parameters.

Removed a hardcoded secret token (`xrpc-9f8e7d6c5b4a`) from the Nginx configuration that allowed conditional bypass of the XML-RPC block. This mitigates a severe vulnerability where an attacker with the token could access the endpoint to perform brute-force or pingback DDoS attacks against the WordPress application. Replaced the logic with a secure, unconditional `deny all;` directive and disabled logging for the blocked endpoint.
