Group conversations can now be explicitly enrolled through GhostGet’s owner messaging host for Beeper, iMessage, and WhatsApp. Direct conversations remain the default, and clients negotiate support before requesting groups.

Each group enrollment binds one account, conversation, and complete participant list. A positively observed change permanently disables the enrollment and revokes its sends, including after restoration or restart. New enrollments begin with new messages, and providers recheck the binding at the final send boundary.

Website footers now use one product navigation row, compact analytics preferences, and a panel that stays inside the viewport. The change removes duplicate project-information rows from all 32 templates and retains the unique agent-documentation link. Release preparation uses the separately reserved 0.18.71 version and preserves all published 0.18.66–0.18.70 source and release notes.

Validation:

  • 58 host/RPC/group tests and 87 provider/group tests passed, including 60 lifecycle schedules; overlapping group tests are counted in both commands. The 28 reviewed group/native source files are unchanged; the seed corpus also retains the new provider regression entries from protected main.
  • Typechecks, 142 verification-claims tests, two targeted mutation controls, native Go tests/vet, and patch replay passed. Two native builds produced identical bytes; independent reviews cover host/RPC, providers, native dispatch, and provenance.
  • The protected-main projection and group integration passed 82 tests and 1,435 assertions; its focused independent review found no issues.
  • Two qualified npm archives are byte-identical: 626 entries, 12,183,657 packed bytes, and 24,145,741 payload bytes. Every archived file matches its retained source; existing package allowances are unchanged. The isolated package consumer passed.
  • Final version, provider, analytics, claims, website, and release checks: 282 tests, 32,180 assertions. Focused package budget: 3 tests, 293 assertions. The focused footer render covers 70 scenes across page types, consent states, themes, and responsive boundaries.
  • All focused checks and independent review passed for the current 0.18.71 head; fresh CI and CodeQL are running. Fresh admission immediately before protected merge binds the exact checkout, tree, toolchain, current head/base, preview status, security comparison, and absence of unresolved review threads. No live provider accounts or message sends were used.

The protected-main join preserves the legacy body-free WhatsApp projection repair without changing group enrollment or native dispatch authority. All historical notes through 0.18.70 remain verbatim; group automation and the footer changes are reserved for 0.18.71. Final delivery requires current-head CI, merged-source CI, immutable publication, and production verification.
