A 29-second film in video/story (story-film engine) fills the launch post's film slot (website/launch/film.ts): a signed-in browser lets an agent click anything, the GhostGet reveal, the measured Markdown-versus-HTML sizes, real ghostget read output, previews and never resending, and an end card that asks your agent to install GhostGet. website:check passes. …name (#547) ## Summary - **Getting started: "Run GhostGet from Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor"** (`/docs/tutorials/getting-started/#agents`). Codex: default `workspace-write` has no network, the error a read prints (`http: could not resolve example.com`), the one-session `-c 'sandbox_workspace_write.network_access=true'` option, a permission profile for `~/.codex/config.toml` (beta), why `features.network_proxy` must stay off (GhostGet resolves and pins addresses itself and ignores proxy variables), the older-settings precedence, and an optional `prefix_rule` for `ghostget read`. Claude Code: Manual-mode prompt, `Bash(ghostget read *)` allow rule, and `sandbox.excludedCommands`. Cursor: Run Mode, `sandbox.json` network and loopback limits, allowlist. A troubleshooting line points `could not resolve` failures at the new section. - **New how-to `/docs/how-to/connect-gmail/`** written from `src/oauth-google.ts`, `src/args.ts`, `src/ghostget.ts`, the bundled Gmail adapter, and Google's consent-screen, OAuth, scopes, and verification docs. It covers when Claude's Gmail connector is enough, the three read-only actions and scopes, Desktop-client setup, terminal sign-in (`--no-open`, 10-minute wait, `127.0.0.1` callback), the seven-day Testing limit and `--force` renewal, exact sign-in/renewal errors including `invalid_grant`, and disconnecting. The page states once that no Google sign-in was run. It is linked from the docs index, provider directory, getting started, sitemap, and llms.txt, with trailing-slash redirects. - **WebMCP** (`/webmcp/`): `navigator.modelContext` was the earlier name (deprecated in Chromium 150, removed from Chromium source in July 2026, commit 4a9fee9), plus the specification's draft status (Draft Community Group Report, 2 October 2026) and the Chrome 149 origin trial and testing flag. llms.txt entry updated. - No version bump: ghostget.com changes reach production with the next version-bump release. Deferred: the measured token table (no complete tokenizer measurement exists) and the built-in fetch comparison (reassess 2026-10-26). ## Test plan - [x] `host-run --mode=shared --lane=compute -- bun run website:check` (paper theme, website and edge typecheck, 181 website/edge tests, site build) on the pre-rebase tree: exit 0. The branch was then rebased onto `345f8251` (#546, launch film only; no overlapping files). - [x] Built HTML for `/docs/how-to/connect-gmail/`, `/docs/tutorials/getting-started/`, and `/webmcp/`: title, description (153 characters for the new page), canonical, indexable robots, Markdown alternate, sitemap `<loc>`, and llms.txt entries checked in `website/dist`. - [x] Codex CLI 0.160.0, isolated `CODEX_HOME`, `codex sandbox -- ghostget read https://example.com --mode http` (GhostGet 0.18.79): `workspace-write` without network fails with `http: could not resolve example.com`; with `-c sandbox_workspace_write.network_access=true` and with the permission profile it succeeds; with `features.network_proxy = true` curl reaches example.com but GhostGet fails with the same error; a profile without the proxy reaches a `127.0.0.1` test server, the proxy and no-network modes do not; `default_permissions` plus `[sandbox_workspace_write] network_access = true` still fails; `codex execpolicy check` reports `decision: allow` for the `prefix_rule`. - [x] Gmail: `ghostget capabilities gmail --json` after `adapter sync-bundled` in an isolated state home lists `contacts.list`, `messaging.list`, `messaging.read` (all R1, no side effects); `auth login` with a Web-application client JSON prints `Google OAuth client document contains unsupported field web`; an offline replay with synthetic tokens prints the expired-credential error and `official provider returned HTTP 400 for POST /token`. - [x] WebMCP: `sites.search`, `sites.get`, and read-only `tools.call` on developers.cloudflare.com succeeded on 2026-10-04 (registry snapshot `syncedAt` 2026-09-23); Chrome docs last updated 2026-10-01 and 2026-09-21. - [ ] Not run: GhostGet inside an interactive Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor session (no model sessions); Claude Code's and Cursor's sandboxes; a real Google OAuth sign-in or any Gmail API read; a Beeper Desktop read. - [x] Follow-up commit names `--mode http` in the Codex status note; `bun test ./website/site.test.ts` 12 pass. - [x] Required CI on this head: pass. --------- Co-authored-by: 0thernet <894119+0thernet@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Devin <158243242+devin-ai-integration[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
