Fix JWT unauthorized/expired issue

For an expired JWT token, we used to only show this error message

Now we do this:

Also added some overall error handling for our fetch

Instructions

• The PR title should follow the Conventional Commits
  syntax, leading with fix:, feat:, chore:, ci:, etc.
