The "Repository Structure" block was hard-wrapped by the AsciiDoc→Markdown conversion, so the entire tree collapsed into a single paragraph and rendered as one run-on line.

Rebuilt from the block's own content:

  • depth recovered from the │ continuation bars that survived the wrap
  • the guide entry moved under .github/, where the guide actually lives
  • \# escapes unescaped, └── restored on the last entry of each group
  • the block fenced with ```text so it renders as a tree

Every annotation ("Perimeter 1-2" etc.) is preserved — nothing invented, nothing dropped.

Mechanical repairs to the guide, each anchored on a known-broken form:

- unescaped \# -> #
- rebuilt the hard-wrapped setup block into one command per line
- replaced invalid `():` commit header
- dedented headings that rendered as code

No prose is rewritten; only the broken forms are corrected.

    • Expanded commit message guidance to include the Conventional Commits format, including body and footer sections.

Walkthrough

The contribution guide was reformatted for clearer line wrapping and heading structure. The commit message section now documents the subject, body, and footer format.

Dedent the contribution guidance under the headings.

The bodies under Reporting Bugs, Suggesting Features, and Your First Contribution use four-space indentation. Markdown renders these bodies as code blocks, so the bold labels, lists, and links appear as preformatted text. Remove the four-space indentation from these bodies.

Keep preformatted examples in Markdown code blocks or lists.

The setup sequence is not a fenced shell example. The # Install dependencies manually line renders as a heading. The repository tree collapses into prose, and its # Examples line also renders as a heading. The branch patterns collapse into one paragraph instead of one pattern per line.

Fence the setup sequence and repository tree. Use a fenced code block or a list for the branch patterns.

Keep the commit template in header/body/footer order.

[optional body] follows Footer: and is rendered as part of the same Markdown paragraph. Move it before Footer:, or remove both redundant optional placeholders because Body: and Footer: already describe these sections.
