• promote the current integrated dev state to main
• make the public default branch and release branch model consistent with repository documentation
• carry the software citation, DOI badge, and README updates onto the stable public branch

  • branch promotion from dev to main
• out of scope:
  • additional code changes
  • release automation changes

Validation

• relevant tests/checks were run
• Docker/runtime validation was run when the change touched backend, orchestration, templates, or integration paths
• docs/rules were updated when behavior, contracts, or workflow changed

git fetch origin

  • main will move forward to match dev

  • low; this is a branch promotion of already integrated work
