Looks like fast-uri is up-to-date now, so this is no longer needed. |

3.4.0's hosted smoke failed one check, twice, and the check was wrong rather than the server: ❌ get_doc consumes that url and returns the page — 2215 chars It was `md.includes(firstUrl)`, and it had never tested the chain. get_doc names the MIRROR it read — Source: https://imqueue.org/get-started/index.md — and a page URL is a PREFIX of its own mirror, so `includes` was true for free. Nothing about following search_docs' result was being verified. A #fragment breaks the prefix. search_docs' top result for "expose a service method" is now /api/faq/#how-do-i-expose-a-service-method-so-it-can-be-called- remotely, the mirror is /api/faq/index.md, and the substring is absent — so the feature this release shipped failed a check that had been passing by accident since before the feature existed. Fixed in two parts, because the old check was conflating them. Page identity is asserted against the URL minus its fragment. The slice gets its own assertion, which is the one worth having: following the top result must cost the SECTION, not the page. Measured live against 3.4.0 — 2,215 of 39,945 chars, 94% less. It is conditional on the URL carrying a fragment, so it neither fails nor silently passes if the ranker's #1 for that query stops being an anchor. No republish: files is ["dist", "SPEC.md"], so this script is not in the tarball and npm's 3.4.0 is unaffected. Verified: npm run verify exit 0 (72 tests, 39 offline smoke checks), and against the live endpoint `npm run smoke:remote` — All hosted checks passed, plus MCP_WORKER_VERIFY_ONLY=1 node scripts/deploy-worker.mjs exit 0, which is the postpublish step that had exited 1.
