The unicode bullet (•) and nbsp were being used in list entry prefix, however they are not recognised by Markdown syntax.
An indented paragraph and list render incorrectly
Uses both Ruby and Javascript linter.

While the other two changes fix actual rendering problems, this changeset includes changes which do not improve the rendering as far as I can see, and the necessary rules can all be disabled if you dont like them. I've avoided fixing the lint errors, to keep this changeset managable. |

I'd like to revise it after the other fixes are merged, as it provides a much saner baseline for lint rules. |
