Index47 was started in May of 2026 by programmers on 13100 47 Beavers. It is now run and maintained by many more FTC members as well! This was started through observations that many people in the FTC community are not always caught up with references, definitions, or acronyms. This website simply solves all of these problems!
- Join the discord
- Send a post in #suggestion-additions about what contribution you are making, use example
- Follow steps below for contributing on an existing search or making a new search
- Wait for approval from developer
- If embedding links, use this format, example: (LINK: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ, LINK COVER: youtube)
1. Make sure all general contributing steps are completed above
2. Fork Index47
3. Make the changes that you got approval for
4. Add your name in contributors.html, in the same format with github link
5. Create a pull request to main

3. Open template.html inside contributing folder
4. Copy the whole file
5. Paste the file into a new file under docs folder, named [acronym or full form].html,
6. Go through all the written comments and adapt them to your search including images and url embeds
7. Go to index.html inside the docs folder, at line 151, add your search to the list as shown
8. In index.html add your search to the table of contents (line 103), in its full form ALPHABETICALLY
8. Add your name in contributors.html (NOT index.html), in the same format with github link
9. Create a pull request to main
