Volume2 does not change any system settings related to sound devices. It only uses Windows API to change volume. |

Installed this and initially it was working fine. 1 step increments for Vol +/- but then it started doing 1 increment for Vol - only and 2 increments for Vol +. I tried everything I knew and finally decided to uninstall. When I did this I lost all sound. Check Windows Audio Service and it was not running even though set up normally. When I tried to start the service it game a permissions error. Found one work around that allowed me to start the service, but on reboot it would revert back. Finally had to reinstall Windows. What would cause this? This app is on the only change I made and now I am afraid to install it again since 1... I don't know if it will break again 2. Uninstalling will result in me having to install Windows again.
