🚨 Severity: HIGH 💡 Vulnerability: `internal/api/routes.go` blindly mapped unauthenticated `OPTIONS` requests (e.g., `OPTIONS /api/v1/auth/login`) directly to the business-logic handler `s.handleLogin`. 🎯 Impact: This allowed unauthenticated preflight requests to execute business logic, bypassing access controls and potentially leading to state modification or information leakage depending on the handler's behavior. 🔧 Fix: Removed method-specific `OPTIONS` bindings to handlers. Restructured `corsMiddleware` to wrap the global `mux` at the server level, cleanly intercepting and resolving all preflight requests securely before routing. ✅ Verification: Ran `go test ./internal/api/...` to ensure routing tests pass.
