Pi has support for things like Bedrock in its model catalog. It would be great if, when I exhaust my Codex Plus/Claude Pro/Cursor Pro plan limits, to be able to switch to say Sonnet on Bedrock via Pi and keep going.
Edit for clarification: I just realized that I can use Bedrock through OpenRouter using BYOK, but depending on the usage volume, that introduces extra costs in the loop, plus all the sessions flow through OpenRouter, too. Pi support would avoid extra expenses and locally communicate with Bedrock directly, which would be preferable for privacy/security. I may use the OpenRouter method in the interim, but I don't think it's ideal.
