Why this exists (real, sourced gap)

Checked the actual landscape before building (2026-09-10): every existing "test" is either a lead-generation funnel that ends in "leave your contact details" (Driessen — confirmed by fetching the page directly) or a static checklist with no scoring at all, explicitly stating results require manual self-judgment (Knab — confirmed the same way). KVK's own official page lists the practical criteria but has no interactive checker. No independent, instant, no-signup scored tool was found.

Sourcing (verified against primary sources, not summaries)

• Practical criteria (work-hours/location autonomy, personal-labor requirement, work-method instructions, own tools, embedding in the client's organization, entrepreneurial risk, multiple clients): KVK — Wet DBA: voorkom schijnzelfstandigheid.
• The €38/hour legal-presumption law (Wet invoering rechtsvermoeden van arbeidsovereenkomst op basis van uurtarief, bill 36.783): confirmed directly against the official government gazette, not a secondary blog — Staatsblad 2026, 207 states the law enters into force 31 December 2026. An initial search result claimed a different rate (€32.84) and no clear in-force date; cross-checked against the Eerste Kamer's own bill page and the Staatsblad before using either number, since getting a real legal date/amount wrong in a tool like this would be a real harm, not a cosmetic bug.

Honesty in the tool itself

The result page explicitly states the €38 rechtsvermoeden is not yet in force (only from 31 Dec 2026) rather than implying it applies today — a low hourly rate is still flagged as a real risk factor because courts already weigh rate as one signal today, but the tool doesn't overstate the new law's current legal effect.

What it is NOT

Not legal advice, not a replacement for an actual assessment (the result page says so directly). A 6-question client-side quiz can't capture every nuance of a real working relationship — it's a fast first check, the same positioning as this project's other checkers.

Fully static — no backend, no third-party calls (unlike cookie-scan). nginx serves index.html directly from /var/www/zzp-check on cookiescan.jdries.nl's Cloudflare Tunnel pattern via zzpcheck.jdries.nl.
