- Live status view: For any flight you have scheduled in the next 24 hours, tap the live-status button to see the aircraft's full same-day rotation with real-time status. Uses FlightRadar24 for live tracking and disambiguates same-day flights that reuse the same number across different routes.
- Backup Route Finder: Identifies flights with your airline (or all airlines) later in the day for your same route in case you miss a connection.
- Contextual external links: Your own flight in the new view links directly to FlightStats details page for scheduled/landed states and to FlightRadar24's live map once the aircraft's ADS-B transponder is broadcasting. Prior legs in the same rotation will also link to their FR24 pages when in flight.
- Event-Driven UI: Driven by FR24's ADS-B live signal — the currently-in-motion leg (either your flight or a prior route in your aircraft's rotation) is always the one highlighted, and the highlighting moves forward automatically as the trip progresses.
- Full compatibility: All upstream AirTrail features (flight logging, map, statistics, import from ~10 third-party formats, sharing, custom fields, OAuth, etc.) are preserved. Attribution and license remain with the original project; see below for the full upstream documentation.
