Summary

First real run of the daily improvement routine (the ledger previously held only its initialization placeholder). Scanned all six sources for the 2026-07-15 through 2026-07-24 window.

  • 1 PR opened: routine: memory-deprecated-at (2026-07-24) #116 — trivial deprecated_at timestamp on MemoryEntry, mirroring Claude Code's addition of a modified timestamp to memory file frontmatter (theme 4).
  • 4 items deferred with design sketches (nested-subagent delegation, a possible new tripwire category for hostile external input, Managed Agents memory-store webhooks, and a ROADMAP.md P1.2 citation for host-capability sandbox settings) — each is either architecturally significant or touches a cycle-9 chokepoint, so per the routine's own bar they get a design note, not same-day code.
  • 12 items out-of-scope — general model/product/business news that doesn't map to any of the seven CSIS themes, including a Frontier Red Team drone-capability post that looked promising by title but turned out to be a single-model benchmark, not multi-agent red-teaming.

Full triage detail in brain/routines/2026-07-24.md; the URL ledger in brain/routines/index.md is updated so future runs skip these.

Test plan

  • N/A — this PR only adds markdown log files, no code changes.

First real run of the daily-improvement routine. Scanned all six
sources for the 2026-07-15..07-24 window; opened one trivial PR
(#116) and deferred four architecturally-significant items with
design sketches per the routine's own bar for medium+ changes.
