This eliminates the java9 profile but requires a JDK toolchain version 8 to compile the sun.misc.Signal wrapper class.
It is known that getgroups and id -G return different lists on macOS and this is not a particularly important test. See python/cpython#52148 for a discussion of the same issue in Python.
