With those changes, users are now able to access the hidden apps list without opening the settings menu, by attaching the added action to a gesture

Thanks for contributing and sorry about the late response.

This feature and similar features were previously discussed (see e.g. #226, #195, #141). However, the idea of the hidden apps feature is to get non-removable bloatware out of the way for people stuck with junk ROMs (see #15), so I don't really see why this feature would be needed.

Moreover, if something like this feature is implemented I think it would be better to do that as part of the proposed more general tags feature (#84).

I could see how this feature would be helpful in the edge case where you have tons of apps, have a subset that you rarely use but still need to access on occasion.

With the current implementation of hidden apps, you simply cannot access them unless you open the launcher settings>LAUNCHER>Apps>Hidden Apps. This is extremely inefficient and the proposed solution would make this much more accessible and useful.

I ran into this exact edge case myself the other day:
I wanted to launch the Chrome app inside my Work Profile. I had previously hidden this app as it was "bloating" my app list and something I didn't really use. This time I wanted to use it to give me a the ability to log in to a website with a different set of credentials so I could toggle from my personal Chrome to this isolated Chrome easily, each with its own unique login, without having to log out and log back in each time. The headache was trying to get to the Work Chrome app as it's hidden in the breadcrumb trail I laid out above. I had to unhide it from my main app list, which is fine, but not really what I wanted. I would love the ability to whip open the hidden apps for just such an occasion.

I don't see how it hurts anything by adding it, other than increasing the number of customizations users can do to help them GTD, which is arguably why they love the launcher so much.

If you'll merge it, I can help with getting it mergeable into the current main branch if necessary. Thanks for considering.
