Getting this too... It looks like setuptools updated itself so it works again. This package is pretty old and unmaintained though. Is there a modern alternative? Looks like there might be some alternatives in: |

As of setuptools v78.0.0 (released yesterday), this won't build because of the depracation of '-' in
setup.cfgfiles. Changing the dash to an underscore.pypa/setuptools@88bee15
